About Us

Green Plumb Garden Design (GPGD) creates exceptional outdoor environments, greeting you with color, fragrance, seasonal variety and intriguing textures year round.  We create landscapes with:

  • birds and butterflies as frequent visitor
  • sustainable plantings complimentary to our Midwestern climate and resilient to a warming planet with heavier downpours and more frequent droughts
  • durable and cost-effective paths, patios and stonework to frame and direct your outdoor rooms
  • inspired by the framing and strong aesthetics of renowned garden architects and first class, sophisticated horticulture

Work with GPGD to bring beauty, inspiration, relaxation and unforgettable moments to your landscape setting, with outdoor rooms that match your home’s interior elegance.

Established in 2003, Green Plumb Garden Design serves communities from Hyde Park to Harbert, MI.  We offer all phases of landscape design, and some construction, from garden plans for entire renovations to small injections of color and texture at front stoops and in container plantings.  Green Plumb Garden Design’s vision is to make every landscape more enjoyable, memorable and aligned with the natural world.   We achieve this vision with a reputation built on excellent client services, ongoing education from leading horticulturalists and by listening and collaborating with our clients and other designers.
