Latest fav perennial … and a great pollinator magnet

Veronia Southern Cross
Veronia Southern Cross – this is my new favorite perennial.                                                              This plant  P-E-R-F-O-R-M-S ! at the end of the growing season when many blooms are fading away, with an injection of brilliant color and a neat habit, and some lucky pollinators swarming constantly.  Vernonia is commonly called Ironweed – and this particular variety fits nicely into front edges of sunny garden borders.   I look forward to updating this website and social media with Veronia Southern Cross sparkling across many Green Plumb gardens.
